The acclaimed musical HADESTOWN by singer-songwriter Anaïs Mitchell and director Rachel Chavkin will be coming to Melbourne’s Her Majesty’s Theatre in May 2025. HADESTOWN  is the winner of 8 Tony Awards, including Best Musical. 

HADESTOWN is a defiantly hopeful theatrical experience that takes you on a journey to the underworld and back, intertwining two mythic love stories: young dreamers Orpheus and Eurydice, and King Hades and his wife Persephone.

It’s showtime! The eight-time Tony Award nominated Beetlejuice The Musical is headed to Melbourne for an exclusive, limited run in May 2025. Featuring an original score by Australia’s own Eddie Perfect, this riotous production promises “screamingly good fun” (Variety) at the Regent Theatre.

Based on Tim Burton’s beloved film, Beetlejuice is wilder, funnier, and more mischievous than ever. The story centers on Lydia Deetz, a quirky teenager fascinated by the idea of death. When her new home turns out to be haunted by a recently deceased couple and a chaotic demon with a penchant for stripes, Lydia enlists the ghostly Beetlejuice to help scare off her annoying parents. What follows is a hilarious and chaotic ride filled with exorcisms, a terrified girl scout, and an uproarious visit to the netherworld.
